I love the trees and all the open spaces in Canberra. That’s what I love about Canberra.

I also love the fact that it’s not overcrowded, and that everything is spaced out. We have a lot of beauty in Canberra.

I’ve been here since 1986 because my husband got a job here. We’re still here, it’s home.

I think it’s easy to maintain your health and wellbeing because services are fairly close to you. Not like in Sydney where you have to travel. It’s also easier to find what you’re looking for, and we have local community centres for issues like mental health and disability.

But the winters are hard!

To me being a woman means you have to just be out there. I think balance between men and women is not equal, certainly pay is not equal. It’s still a man’s world.

My favourite things are nature, animals, and people.

My perfect day might be jumping on a boat and cruising around the lake all day! That’s just one thing that came to mind.

I would describe myself as happy, because I’ve been to yoga and I’m having a nice day.
