I would describe myself as excited at this moment in time, I am happy I finally get to marry my best friend and see all our planning and hard work come together.

My favourite things in life are my husband to be, our families, and the home that we will share together.

I was born in Canberra in 1983 and was raised here. My family and friends all live in Canberra—and I am very happy here. I am getting married in Canberra and plan to start a family here. The best thing about being a woman in Canberra is that you feel safe pretty much everywhere you go, which I feel is very important considering what is going on in the world.

It’s also very easy to maintain your health and wellbeing in Canberra because there’s lots of fresh produce available and many doctors and services available around where I live. Lots of opportunities for fitness as well—which I never take up unfortunately!

There could probably be more shopping options, but Canberra has come a long way in this regard!

It means a lot to be to be a woman. Women are strong! Women are awesome and they can do so much cool stuff that boys can’t do. Sometimes our brains can think crazy but we are pretty rad people.

My perfect day in Canberra would include lots of eating, hanging out with my fiancé, going for a nice drive on a warm day without anywhere we have to be…oh, and also my wedding day!
